I was intrigued with things having reality or force while lacking inherent physicality, like language, ideas and culture, things animated through deployment, otherwise immobile or non-existent.
In the foundry, I was experimenting with strategies of projecting ideas into physical form, interested in metalwork as a language that can durably embody the immaterial, temporal, conceptual or ephemeral.
