A production experiment exploring a dynamic, narrative-imbued figurative language.

Casting a bronze in the lost-wax process involves making a rubber mold of the original piece to generate an individual wax copy, which is then invested in a ceramic mold
and cast in bronze.

The Artificial Reproduction Series
'automates' the molding, copying and
welding processes to 'grow new tissue'
and fully flesh out the individual potential
of each subject.

The production process is open-ended,
essentially cultivating the self-assemblage
of each piece, fragmenting, scaling and
multiplying for 'fit' and poetic resonance,
a tactile process through which each
accrues a unique body and identity.
